Matt Brittain
Associate Consultant
Matt is a consultant, facilitator, and mental health advocate with over 20 years of experience across government, corporate, and non-profit sectors, both in New Zealand and internationally.
His work focuses on mental health, leadership development, workplace well-being, and systemic advocacy, helping individuals and organisations navigate change with confidence.
Having grown up in Lower Hutt and lived in multiple countries, Matt brings a broad cultural perspective to his work while remaining deeply connected to Aotearoa. He has coached hundreds of individuals, drawing from his background as a counsellor, intern psychologist, and national manager.
His work has contributed to mental health policy reform, workforce development, and national advocacy strategies aimed at improving systems and outcomes for communities.
Matt has also been involved in international development projects and serves as a governance member. He works binationally on several strategic and transformation committees, focusing on creating environments where people can thrive.
With a Master’s in Health Psychology, he is passionate about fostering inclusive, psychologically safe, and effective leadership.
